STEPHANIE MORGAN ROGERS
And the one in the first, is me - I wish! Imagine being friend with a bear; oh, I could easily have been, in a fairy tale-ish way...You live quite a fairy tale-ish life already, I'd say... with lambs and goats, instead of bears and wolves. Makes no difference, I am sure! (falling in love with your comments, I dread the day they stop...)
I want to leap into every one of those illustrations!
me too! when i grow up i want to live in a book like this...Lilli, guess what? we do have bears and coyotes and wolverines in the great wood which stretches on and on all the way up to 14K peaks behind my house. i have a "pet" bear named Humphrey. Haven't seen in this fall though my neighbors spotted him.this summer, there was a baby pooh bear who came out of hibernation motherless (see my post) so cute but he was relocated by the wildlife dept. because he was soooo used to people. cute but dangerous.i dream of bears alot, its always thrilling and magical.
Me too, these are all stunning illustrations.
Lovely images- I collect vintage kids books and enjoy finding images that have been hidden in these gems!Nice to meet you-
I love this illustrator, thank you for reminding me of him! A perfect start to the day, thank you!
