The Family Field
Down the mountain and out the valley are fields still golden from corn and straw. Deer find refuge and a late afternoon meal in the waste of harvest while the buck oversees his clan. They are a family ,scattered but belonging .

lovely warm palette. buck is looking very protective and strong, like a good husband and father...

Rosamund, I do believe I will do something with these when they are all done. I am writing a story as I go but it is all a mystery as to how it ends - In true Advent anticipation!
